join us for a
summer songwriter night: for sight & sound
Did you know that an estimated 30% of RTRA students have a suspected hearing or vision impairment? During our upcoming summer mission trip, both an ophthalmologist and an audiologist will be providing their expertise to our students. Join us on June 14th for a private songwriter evening to help reach our of $15K to offset the cost of these specialists.
we educate the whole student by building partnerships one household at a time
At Raise the Roof Academy, we’re committed to holistic development in rural Uganda. We focus on education, health (on campus and in the community), income generation, and collaboration with local leaders. Our goal is lasting, region-wide progress, not just temporary assistance.
build the high school campaign
RTRA high school students account for 13% of the total current student body population and expected to increase to 30% this year in 2024. Because of the rapid growth, the RTRA High School has been temporarily housed in the pavilion on the main campus of the primary school. It’s necessary to expand our campus to accommodate the growth and success of our students.
